A practical guide for suppliers

How we contract

Our contracting approach provides a consistent, transparent framework for engaging suppliers and procuring ICT goods and services.

Most ICT engagements follow a common NSW Government pathway, with contract terms scaled to value, complexity and risk.

Primary pathway

NSW Government ICT Purchasing Framework

  • Administered by the Department of Customer Service (DCS)
  • Standard route for ICT goods and services across NSW Government
  • Approach varies with engagement value, complexity and risk.

Know the terms

Core contracting instruments

  • ICT Agreement (ICTA)
  • Master ICT Agreement (MICTA)

Variations are assessed case by case and remain subject to governance and approval.

Other approved routes

Where appropriate, eHealth NSW may also use:

  • Whole-of-Government frameworks with common contractual arrangements
  • NSW Health statewide contracts and centrally managed agreements.
