HealtheNet awarded merit at 2016 iAwards for NSW
eHealth NSW’s HealtheNet Program has been honoured with a Merit Prize at the 2016 iAwards, one of Australia’s elite technology prizes.
As the platform for Integrated Care in NSW, HealtheNet is helping to create a more joined-up, efficient and sustainable health system leading to improved patient safety and outcomes.
HealtheNet received a merit prize in the hotly-contested NSW Public Sector and Government category, outshining many impressive innovations from across the NSW public sector.
Led by Program Director Julie Cashin, eHealth NSW’s HealtheNet team is breaking down barriers of clinical information exchange by implementing national and international standards of interoperability and delivering significant benefits to patients and clinicians alike.
“I am very proud of the team,” Julie said. “The award is a wonderful acknowledgement and recognition of HealtheNet's achievement in the innovation arena against strong competition in other sectors. eHealth NSW has certainly earned its seat at the table.”
As of 1 April 2016, HealtheNet is live in 182 public hospitals and multi-purpose services across all NSW Health Local Health Districts (LHDs) and the Sydney Children's Hospital Network. This number is growing each month as the electronic medical record (eMR) is rolled out further.Back to the top of this page
